MARCH Foundation Board of Directors,
To say that the MARCH Foundation Scholarship has helped me in the pursuit of future endeavors would be an understatement.
I am currently interning at Orange Tree Golf Course in Scottdale, Arizona. This is my third and final internship. I will graduate from Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s in Business with emphasis on Golf Management. I have also interned at The Classic at Madden’s in Brainerd, Minnesota, and at the Essex County Club in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. I have learned many nuances and strategies that will help me succeed in the golf industry, no matter which specific career path I choice.
This scholarship has allowed me to pursue my main goal of a career in professional golf. For the past few years, I have been a member of a great group of the Ferris State Men’s Golf Team. It has allowed me to play around the country and compete for a national championship. I still have two years of eligibility left due to COVID-19, so I plan to take advantage of those years to hone my game to be prepared for the next level after college.
All these things would not have been possible without the help of the MARCH Foundation throughout these essential years. I appreciate your help and will be grateful for it after my college years and into my career, regardless of my career path.
