The March Foundation welcomes new Board Member Thomas White, a retired UPS Managing Director of Sales with 35 years of service. White held various leadership positions within the Business Development function across seven different districts throughout his career. His extensive experience extends to community service and leadership beyond UPS.
White’s UPS journey began in Athens, GA, as a package car driver in 1986. He demonstrated his dedication by rising through the ranks, earning a promotion to full-time supervision as an Account Executive in 1990. He held numerous pivotal roles at UPS, including Director of Sales for the South Illinois, Empire State, and Metro Philadelphia Districts, as well as Corporate Enterprise Managing Director of Sales for Industrial Products.
Beyond his professional achievements, White is dedicated to giving back to the community. He served on the Central Florida Junior Achievement Board and the Liberty USO Board of Philadelphia. Additionally, he was recognized as a 2009 Father of the Year for his work with the American Diabetes Association in Philadelphia.
A Fort Valley State University alum, White is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He also served as a Second Lieutenant Infantry Officer in the United States Army and spent sixteen years in the United States Army Reserves.
White enjoys playing golf and spending family time.
