Myron Gray Joins MARCH Foundation Board

September 2018 – Myron Gray has been named to the Board of the MARCH Foundation. Gray, who is retired from United Parcel Service (UPS), was president of U.S. operations for UPS with responsibility for all package delivery and logistics services for the world’s largest economy.

Gray was a member of UPS’s Management Committee, the group of senior executives responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. In the United States, UPS delivers and picks up more than 15 million packages each day and has 345,000 employees.

In 2010, he led a strategic transformation of the company’s U.S. small package business. He also has presided over programs to expand the company’s logistics services, upgrade the technology in UPS operations, and improve the delivery fleet’s fuel efficiency.

Gray was a member of UPS’s Management Committee, the group of senior executives responsible for the day-to-day management of the company.

Gray began his career with UPS in 1978 as a part-time package handler in the Tennessee District while attending college. He completed advanced management programs at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and the Yale School of Business.

Throughout his career at UPS, Gray held various positions of increasing responsibility in industrial engineering, human resources, business development and operations. In 1995, he was promoted to vice president and COO of the Southeast Texas District then held the same position in the Rocky Mountain District. In 2002, Gray was promoted to president of the Southwest Region and took over the North Central Region two years later.
