MARCH Foundation Sponsors First Tee of Atlanta Charity Golf Event

First Tee of Atlanta Executive Director Venessa Hawkins thanks Dennis Obregon for being a sponsor of the event.
The hot Atlanta summer weather welcomed golfers to the annual First Tee of Atlanta Charity Golf Tournament at the John A. White Golf Course. The MARCH Foundation was one of the major sponsors this event to help raise funds to help support the First Tee of Atlanta organization. In addition to support from MARCH, over the last four years a number of board members have also made personal pledges to benefit the First Tee of Atlanta program.
The First Tee program , which is directed by Ms. Venessa Hawkins, has been located at the John A. white Golf course since 2000 and annually services 600 youth from the community ranging in ages from 7 to 17. Their mission is to positively impact the lives of Atlanta’s young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
