“The MARCH Foundation is thrilled with the swearing-in of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson – the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. This is a historical and long overdue milestone. Judge Jackson is phenomenally qualified. She understands the disproportionate impact of our justice system on communities of color. Justice Jackson also has a track record of defending and upholding our constitutional rights and fundamental freedoms. We applaud Justice Jackson and believe that she will be a lifetime voice for justice, equity, and freedom on the Supreme Court.”
