Darnell Clay joins MARCH Foundation board

Darnell W. Clay, Sr., has been named to the Board of Directors of the “March Foundation.” He is a former Operations Division Manager of the Kentucky District of United Parcel Service, and retired in August of 2007 after 34 years of service. Darnell’s management experience included Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Quality, Corporate Schools, Industrial Engineering, Employee Relations and Audit Function. He also led the United States Corporate effort in ISO 9000 Registration for 2 years.

Darnell is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Green Castle Baptist Church. He currently serves on the Board of Louisville Central Community Centers, 100 Black Men of Louisville, and Kentucky African Americans Against Cancer (KAAAC). Darnell also served as Board Member of United Way of Kentucky, Aging Resource Center and Family, and Children Counseling Centers. He is a 1993 graduate of Leadership Louisville.

Darnell is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from Eastern High School and attended Bellarmine University. Darnell now resides in Prospect, Kentucky with his wife Angelyn of 46 years. Together they have two children, Darnell W. Clay, Jr., and Ms. Sharon Burney. They also have 3 grandchildren: Trinity Clay, Darnell W. Clay III and Nathaniel Burney.
