Bruce Trotter has been named to the Board of Directors of “The March Foundation.” Bruce, a former Vice President of The Long Island District of United Parcel Service retired in May 2005 after 35 years of service. While at United Parcel Service, Bruce’s management experience included Operations, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Corporate Schools and Corporate Marketing.
Bruce is a former “David Award Recipient” of “Networking” magazine. This is the highest award given for Business Philanthropy and honored by Governor George Pataki and Senators, Charles Schumer and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Bruce served 5 years on the Board of Directors of United Way of Long Island and Campaign Cabinet Chairman for 2 years. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Jewish Federation. Bruce has been a member of the United Way in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. He has also been associated with the National Urban League and 100 Black Men in Long Island, New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Chapters. Bruce currently serves on the Finance Committee of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Bruce is a native of Darby Township, Pennsylvania and attended Spring Garden College and Drexel University majoring in mechanical engineering. Bruce resides in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania with his wife Cheryl of 25 years. They have 3 children, Kyle, Bruche’ and Brittany.
