Zach began his UPS career in the North Jersey District as a package car driver in 1979. He was promoted to full-time management into operations and later was promoted to business manager in 1985. Zach held positions in package operations and accepted several special assignments prior to being named package division manager in the North Jersey District in 1991. After assignments in package, hub, and Operations Excellence in the Central Jersey and Central Ohio districts, he was promoted to Gulf South District Manager in 2000. He also served as district manager in the East Bay, Desert Mountain, and Central Pennsylvania districts before assuming his current position as Ohio Valley District Manager in 2010.Under Zach’s leadership, the Ohio Valley District won the Horizon Award for Best Overall U.S. Domestic Operation for last year. The district won the People Excellence award for 2012 and 2013. His commitment to excellence and support of our people guided him and his team to great success in serving the customer and achieving the district’s business objectives.
